PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Debra Weaver of Riverton Township was named the 2026 Western Michigan Fair Homemaker of the Year Wednesday afternoon. Amanda Hepworth of Branch Township, who was the 2024 Homemaker of the Year, won second place. Other winners included: Syliva Freeman of Riverton Township, Sarah Machiela of Sherman Township and Jessica Blauwkamp of Hamlin Township. Winning entries are judged on the Monday prior to the fair.
