The following is recent activity of the Ludington Police Department:

Friday, Aug. 7, 2026:

• 4:53 a.m., a 23-year-old Eddieville, Iowa man was arrested for public intoxication, Loomis and Gaylord streets, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 12:45 p.m., a 39-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 300 block of East Pere Marquette Highway, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 8:53 p.m., a 39-year-old Branch woman was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, 300 block of West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. 
• 10 p.m., a 34-year-old Newaygo man was cited for driving while license revoked following a traffic stop, First Street and Pere Marquette Highway, City of Ludington.

Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026:

• 1:25 a.m., a 49-year-old Custer man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop near Diana Street and Washington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 2:10 a.m., a 53-year-old Ludington man was cited for a camping violation at Waterfront Park, City of Ludington.

Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026:

• 2:53 a.m., a 29-year-old Berryton, Kan. man and a 25-year-old Ottawa, Kan. man were arrested for public intoxication, Harrison and Filer streets, City of Ludington. They both were lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 4:09 a.m., a 23-year-old Manistee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and a 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a bond violation, 300 block of North Gaylord Street, City of Ludington. They both were lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 10:44 a.m., a 64-year-old Bitley man was arrested for unlawful entry, 300 block of East Foster Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 7:29 p.m., a 47-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, Washington Avenue and Danaher Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
