Judy Ann Stimmel
Judy Ann Stimmel, 85, of Ludington, died Sunday, June 7, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 19, 1940, in Owendale, Michigan, the daughter of Clayton and Maryann (Hopka) Hurlburt.
Judy enjoyed sitting at the beach, solving crossword puzzles and watching butterflies. She was also an avid golfer and made 3 holes–in-one.
Judy is survived by: her daughters, Gwendelynn Stimmel, Renee (John) Snelling, and Sandra (Joe Misiak) Jones; 4 grandchildren, Keith (Leah) Grimmer-Gonzalez, Kaylee Jones, Kendall Jones and Carmen Jones; her siblings, Sidney (Donna) Hurlburt, Joanne Bubar, Phyllis (Dayton) Torrance, Ron (Martha) Hurlburt and Susan Hackney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by: her husband, Gerald Stimmel in 2012; and 2 brothers-in-law, Tom Bubar and Larry Hackney.
Cremation has taken place a memorial service will be held at a later date.
