LUDINGTON — Downtown Ludington has rescheduled the Love Ludington Street Party to Friday, June 26, due to weather concerns.
Organizers said the decision was made after closely monitoring weather forecasts and considering the planning, setup and coordination required for the event.
“Weather forecasts in Ludington can change quickly, but with the amount of planning, setup and coordination required for this event, organizers want to move forward with confidence and ensure the best possible experience for businesses, vendors, sponsors, entertainers and attendees,” Downtown Ludington said in a statement.
Other scheduled events for the weekend are expected to proceed as planned, including Fish On For Freedom, the Blessing of the Boats and the carferry open house and shoreline cruise. Additional events are also planned throughout the weekend.
