School Bus Dispatcher
Job summary:
- Coordinate daily operations of school buses.
- Schedule bus driver shifts and monitor driver availability.
- Utilize software programs as directed.
- Represent the district in a professional and respectful manner.
- Fill in as needed driving but routes when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in transportation dispatching or a related field.
- Knowledge of school transportation regulations and safety guidelines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
- Must pass state and federal criminal background checks as required.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a class B CDL w/passenger and school bus endorsement.
