Michael Muralt

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Muralt, formerly of Ludington, who passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Bradenton Fla.

Michael was born on July 18, 1963, in Ludington, to Charlotte and Jon Muralt. He graduated from Ludington High School and went on to build a career as a commercial and residential painter in Bradenton. Michael was known for his giving heart, loving spirit, and the way he could bring laughter and smiles to everyone around him with his jokes and warm personality.

Family meant everything to Michael. He cherished time spent with his loved ones and found joy in the simple things—riding his Harley-Davidson, spending time with his two beloved dogs, Scooter and Chloe, and making memories with family and friends.

Michael is survived by his fiancée, Meredith Smith; his sons, Jason (and Stephanie); Jeremy Parker; his daughter, Jessie Muralt; his three cherished grandchildren, Benjamin Sturdavant, Trevor Muralt, and Madelyn Muralt; his brothers, Hans (and Theresa) Berg  and Dieter (and Susan) Muralt; along with several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte and Jon Muralt, and his sister, Annie Muralt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Summit Church, 4879 W. Deren Road, Summit Township (Ludington). Anyone who knew Michael is welcome to come celebrate his life, share memories, and honor the impact he had on so many.

Michael’s favorite quote was:

“See you when I see you.”
