
Thomas Klotz
Thomas Raymond Klotz, 63, of Suttons Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
He was born in Ludington to Charles and Harriet Klotz on November 6, 1962. Tom graduated from Ludington High School in 1981 and from Ferris State College (now Ferris State University) in 1983. He had a long career in the printing industry at that time and then became a small business owner for 15 years running a coffee shop and bakery.
Tom enjoyed cooking, coffee, watching the Detroit Lions, and he loved his dogs. He especially adored his grandson Banks and was immensely proud of him. His faith remained important to him throughout his life.
Tom is survived by: his wife, Christine Klotz; his daughter Emily (Garret) Domish of Garner, North Carolina; his son Austin Klotz of Leland, North Carolina; his grandson Banks; his former wife Darlene Klotz; his siblings Charles (Kenda) Klotz; Dawn McHale, Jennifer (Joseph) Grzegorczyk, Shelley Klotz; his uncle Raymond Madsen, and his nephew and nieces: Chad Klotz, Katelyn (Steve) Eroyan, Allison (Troy) Reedy, and Melanie Havera.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Harriet Klotz.
A private service of remembrance with immediate family was held at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel.
