LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court on felony charges:
Comstock
Kimberly Marie Comstock, 38, methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and possession of a narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams. Offense date: Feb. 2, 2026. Agency: Ludington Police Department (LPD). Bail: $5,000/personal recognizance (PR). Probable cause conference: May 27 at 1 p.m.
Shriver
Kody Michael Shriver, 34, two counts of third-offense domestic violence, felony firearm and assault with a dangerous weapon. Offense date: April 1, 2025. Agency: Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). Bail: $10,000/10 percent. The case was bound over to 51st Circuit Court. Shriver, who is being prosecuted as a third-offense habitual offender, pleaded guilty to third-offense domestic violence and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to court records. Sentencing is set for June 30 at 9:40 a.m.
Swieter
Scott Allen Swieter, 51, sex offender—failure to comply with reporting duties (high-court misdemeanor) and second-offense habitual offender. Offense date: March 12, 2026. Agency: MCSO. Bail: $250/cash. The case was bound over to 51st Circuit Court. Pretrial: June 23 at 10 a.m.

Shawn Michael Tacktor-Collins, 31, methamphetamine/ecstasy possession, bringing contraband into a prison/jail and fourth-offense habitual offender. Offense date: April 5, 2026. Agency: MCSO. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety. In a second file, Tacktor-Collins is charged with methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and fourth-offense habitual offender. Offense date: April 4, 2026. Agency: MCSO. The cases were bound over to 51st Circuit Court. Pretrial: June 23 at 10:40 a.m.
Andrews-Taylor
Lucas Paul Andrews-Taylor, 31, larceny of firearms; possession of a narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams; three counts of felony firearms; possession of ammunition by a prohibited person; possession of a weapon by a prohibited person; and carrying a concealed weapon. Offense date: April 16, 2026. Agency: MCSO. In a second file, he is charged with misdemeanors of domestic violence and malicious destruction of property less than $200. Bail: $100,000/cash/surety. Preliminary exam: May 8 at 1:30 p.m.

Kevin Lee Plasterer, 54, delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine and fourth-offense habitual offender. Offense date: April 16, 2026. Agency: MCSO. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety. The case was bound over to 51st Circuit Court. Pretrial: June 30 at 10:10 a.m.

Mandi Elena Best, 24, possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic. Offense date: Feb. 28, 2026. Agency: MCSO. Robert Wayne Hardy, 47, methamphetamine/ecstasy possession. Offense date: April 24, 2026. Agency: MCSO. Bail: $250/10 percent. Probable cause conference: May 13 at 1 p.m.

Vermeulen
