GOP Lincoln Day Gala scheduled for May 11

LUDINGTON — The Mason County Republican Executive Committee will host its annual Lincoln Day Gala on Monday, May 11 at the Stearns Grand Ballroom in Ludington, featuring keynote speaker Susan Kokinda.

The event will include a social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. The program is set to begin at 7 p.m.

Kokinda, described by organizers as a longtime advocate for restoring the “American System” of economics, will headline the event. Her work focuses on strengthening manufacturing, infrastructure and agriculture, particularly in Michigan. Organizers say her leadership has been influential as the party prepares for the 2026 election cycle.

The gala will take place at the Stearns Grand Ballroom, located at 212 E. Ludington Ave. Tickets are $60 per person, with proceeds supporting local Republican candidates, headquarters operations for the 2026 election cycle and campaign materials such as yard signs. A cash bar will be available.

Following Kokinda’s address, attending candidates will have an opportunity to speak with attendees.

Dinner will include a mixed green salad, choice of pork tenderloin or garlic parmesan chicken, along with potatoes, a dinner roll, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Organizers are also promoting a fundraiser tied to the event, offering prizes including a sunset cruise for two on the SS Badger, a family pass to Lewis Farms, fresh meat bundles and a vehicle detailing package.
