51st Circuit Court sentences, published on April 8, 2026

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Frisbie

Richard Lee Frisbie, 25, pleaded guilty, April 7, to third-offense domestic violence and methamphetamine possession and was sentenced to a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 20 years in prison and $266 in fines and costs. One count of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder was dismissed.

Barwick

Ashley Lynn Barwick, 33, pleaded no contest, Jan. 27, to third-degree child abuse and was sentenced, April 7, to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days served; six months probation; and $458 in fines and costs.

Price

Caeden Scott Price, 26, pleaded guilty, Jan. 27, to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced, April 7, to one day in jail with credit for one day served; two years probation; and $658 in fines and costs. A second count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police was dismissed.

Martinez

Donald Kieth Martinez, 39, pleaded guilty, Jan. 27, to failure to pay support and was sentenced, April 7, to two days in jail with credit for two days served; two years probation; and $458 in fines and costs. Martinez’s $500 bond was forfeited as payment to the Friend of the Court, court records state. A second count of failure to pay child support was dismissed.
