RAVENNA — The Ravenna Bulldogs defeated Mason County Central Thursday, 40-25, in West Michigan Conference Rivers Division play.
“We played hard tonight against a very good team,” said MCC Coach Brent Lyons. “We broke the press well tonight and that had been a real problem for us. Our defense was tougher that I’ve seen it in two weeks. The girls need to see their shots go through the hoop more to gain the confidence we need on the offensive side.
“Aarilyn O’Brien and Jordyn Aultman came to play on defense tonight and that was big for us. Offensively we were lead by Aubrey Chye.”
