The driver was towing a plow that became dislodged and hit a passing motorist, causing injury
AMBER TOWNSHIP — The Michigan State Police, Hart post is seeking the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who was towing a plow that became dislodged and hit a passing motorist on US 10-31 Saturday night, Nov. 22.
“On Nov. 22, 2025, at approximately 8:16 p.m., a white Chevrolet 2500 with a toolbox in the bed was pulling a double-axle dump-style trailer near US 10 and US 31 Highway,” stated MSP Sgt. Michael Cuevas. “When ramping off to go east on US 10, the plow became dislodged, causing a passing motorist to strike it who was injured in the crash. The driver of the pickup truck then left the scene and continued east on US 10.”
The motorist who was hit by the plow received non-life-threatening injuries, said Sgt. Cuevas.
“The Michigan State Police, Hart post is seeking the public’s help in identifying the owner of the truck, the plow, or anyone who may have further information pertaining to this crash. Anyone who may know something is encouraged to call the Hart post at (231) 873-2171.”
