Debbie Forrester
Debra “Debbie” Ann Forrester, 71, of Ludington, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1954, in Los Angeles to Richard and Nancy Wojtaszak.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose heart and humor touched everyone who knew her. She cherished her husband, Gordie, and found joy in spending time with her children and beloved grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she spoke of them with endless love. She loved playing Yahtzee, cards, and a trip to the casino always brought out her lucky streak. She loved the thrill of blackjack and poker, but it was the banter and company that made those moments so special. Her laughter and competitiveness made every gathering memorable.
She is survived by her children Jeff Soberalski (Lisa), Trisha Plamondon (Darryll), David Forrester (Christy), and Wesley Forrester (Brandi); her grandchildren Ali and Jake Plamondon, Aidan and Owen Forrester, Madison, Emily, and Jordyn Forrester, Jessica Harms (Taylor), and Jason Sonderup; her great-grandchildren Logan and Clara Harms; her siblings Steve Wojtaszak (Sandra), Chris Hanson (Tom), Shelley McDiarmid (Kurt), Darryl Wojtaszak; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordie Forrester; parents Richard and Nancy Wojtaszak; and brothers Kevin and Rick Wojtaszak.
Her friends and family will deeply miss her kind heart, sharp wit, and the way she made everyone feel at home. Her stories, laughter, and unconditional love will stay with us forever.
