SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central School District will celebrate its homecoming spirit week Oct. 13 to 18. Throughout the week, the schools will hold special spirit week activities.
The Mason County Central 2025 homecoming court includes front, from left: Avery Miller, freshman class; Sophia Quick, sophomore class; Madelyn Sterly, junior class; senior class queen candidates: Aubrey Chye, Addyson Smith, Nicole Rosales, and Payton Cory. Back, from left: Gage Dotson, freshman; Jagger Maidens, sophomore; Justin Resendiz, junior; senior class king candidates: Grayden Etchison, Cole VanderHaag, Markel Palma, and Toby Reed.
Public events include:
- Powerpuff Football Game, Wednesday, Oct. 15, 6:30 p.m., Spartan Community Field. Junior class girls versus senior class girls; $1 per person entry.
- Tractor parade (in celebration of Farmers’ Day), Thursday, Oct. 16, 2:45 p.m. The parade will begin at the high school, and travel along Maple Street past Scottville Elementary (lower elementary), to Loomis Street, then Beryl Street past the Middle School and Upper Elementary.
- Homecoming parade, Friday, Oct. 17, 5 p.m.; parade will begin at the high school and travel east on Maple Street, north on Loomis Street, west on Beryl Street to Spartan Community Field. The route has been changed this year due to construction in downtown Scottville.
- Homecoming football game; MCC Spartans varsity football team vs. Shelby Tigers, 7 p.m., Spartan Community Field; homecoming king and queen coronation at halftime.
