PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 62-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a report of a subject urinating behind a business in the 5800 block of West US 10 Wednesday, July 15, around 7:15 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The vehicle in question was spotted and stopped on Lakeshore Drive and Jagger Road. During the investigation, the driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and indecent exposure. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Other Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Wednesday, July 15, 2026 includes:
- 7:18 a.m., a 49-year-old Fountain man was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, Hansen and LaSalle roads, Amber Township.
- 8:18 a.m., retail fraud, Scottville Wesco, Main Street, City of Scottville. Items were stolen from the business.
- 9:43 p.m., a 39-year-old Hart man was arrested for methamphetamine possession following a traffic stop, South Main and First streets, City of Scottville. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
