LUDINGTON — Emergency sanitary sewer repairs will close or restrict traffic on a portion of East Ludington Avenue beginning Sunday night, June 28, and continuing into Monday, June 29, according to the City of Ludington.
The work will take place on East Ludington Avenue between Harrison and Delia streets.
Motorists and nearby residents should expect temporary lane closures, road closures or detours, traffic delays, construction noise and temporary access restrictions in the immediate work zone.
City officials are asking drivers to slow down, follow posted traffic control devices, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time while traveling through the area.
The emergency repairs are being scheduled outside normal business hours to reduce impacts on both the sanitary sewer system and roadway traffic. City crews and contractors will work to complete the project as safely and efficiently as possible.
