LUDINGTON — The Scottville Clown Band will hold its annual Patriotic Concert on Tuesday, June 30, at the Waterfront Park pavilion.
This year’s performance will feature the Ludington High School Jazz Band as the opening act. In honor of the nation’s semiquincentennial, veterans also will be recognized during the program.
Donations will be collected during the concert, with all proceeds donated by the Clown Band to the Ludington Area Schools music program.
The Scottville Clown Band is directed by David Buckley. The Ludington High School Jazz Band is directed by Keith Kuczynski.
Performances begin at 6 p.m.
The Patriotic Concert is one of the Clown Band’s more formal performances and features American-themed music throughout the program.
The band will perform its traditional comedy show the previous week during the Pure Ludington Sunset Beach Bonfire at Stearns Park, beginning at 8 p.m.
