LUDINGTON — The 630-foot long MV Manitowoc is expected to make its first visit to Ludington this shipping season Saturday morning. According to the Marine Traffic app, the freighter is expected to arrive at the Rieth-Riley Construction dock on Pere Marquette Lake at 10:34 a.m., which means it may be arriving at the pier heads around 10 a.m.

The 459-foot-long MV Prime is expected to make its third visit to the Port of Ludington on Sunday. Marine Traffic is indicating the tanker will arrive at the Oxy Ludington dock on Pere Marquette Lake at 4:07 p.m., meaning it will arrive at the pier heads about 30 minutes prior. The tug Sarah Andrie will arrive Sunday afternoon to assist the Prime in its docking procedure.
