LUDINGTON — A 29-year-old man serving a 25-year minimum prison term for first-degree criminal sexual conduct was sentenced to a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 60 years in prison for a second conviction of first-degree CSC in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court, according to court records.
Bradley Curtis Drake, who is an inmate at the Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility in Muskegon, received credit for 462 days served in jail. He pleaded no contest to the charge, March 12.

Judge Susan K. Sniegowski sentenced Drake to a mandatory minimum prison term of 25 years to a maximum of 60 years, May 28, 2024 after a jury found him guilty. His new sentence runs concurrently to his previous sentence, according to court records.
In the second case, charges of using a computer to commit a crime and child sexually abusive activity were dismissed. Charges in a third file of unlawful imprisonment, using a computer to commit a crime, child sexually abusive material possession, interfering with electronic communications and domestic violence were dismissed, according to court records.
The conviction for which he is serving the first prison term stems from a Jan. 1, 2021 incident, court records state. His conviction in the second case stems from a Jan. 1, 2022 incident. He was prosecuted by the Michigan Department of Attorney General.
Court records indicate that the first case is being appealed.
