CALEDONIA — The Orioles traveled to Caledonia on Saturday to face the Caledonia Fighting Scots, resulting in a 1-0 win for Ludington.
The score remained 0-0 for most of the game until Hestyn Stowe scored for the Orioles with seven minutes remaining. Ludington had two shots on goal compared to Caledonia’s eight but still secured the win. Cambria Britton recorded the shutout in goal with eight saves for the Orioles.
“We had a strong defensive effort from the whole midfield and backline,” coach Kris Anderson said.
The win improves the Orioles to 6-5-1 and extends their winning streak to three games.
Ludington will next play Manistee in a conference matchup Monday.
