LHS announces All-Around Senior finalists

LUDINGTON — The list of the 10 finalists for the Ludington High School Class of 2026 All-Around Senior award has been announced.

The long-standing honor recognizes students who exemplify the “Oriole Way” through academic achievement, leadership, integrity and community service, according to LHS Principal Steve Forsberg.

The selection process began last week when members of the senior class voted to nominate peers who best represent their graduating class. The finalists were chosen for their character and the positive impact they have made at LHS and in the Ludington community.

“These 10 individuals exemplify the very best qualities of what it means to be an Oriole,” Forsberg said. “Being recognized by your peers is a significant honor. These students have shown dedication to our school and serve as role models for the entire student body. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the leadership they provide.”

The finalists are:

• Walton Autrey
• Ava Carlson
• Amelia Hatch
• Luke Kwietniewski
• Lydia Kwietniewski
• Ian Lundberg
• Madilyn Lynn
• Colin Shelton
• Lilly Slater
• Logan Sloan

Following the nominations, LHS faculty will vote to select the recipient of the 2026 All-Around Senior award. The winner will be announced during the senior awards ceremony May 14.
