Rosalie Ann Farraher of Scottville, formerly of Coopersville, passed away on Sunday April 27, 2025.
She was born May 13, 1934, in Bauer (Blendon Twp.), the daughter of Louis and Lucile (Lemmink) Emmert. Rosalie Emmert married Lawrence Farraher on June 12, 1953.
She is survived by: her sons, Louis (Carrie) Farraher of Scottville and David (Sheryll) Farraher; 10 grandchildren: Jonathan, Heather, Anna, Joshua, Marilyn, Patricia, Micah, Carolyn, Uriah and Lydia; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rosalie was preceded in death by: her parents, Louis and Lucille Emmert; her brothers, Irwin, Edward and Ronald; and her sisters, Marilyn and Sharon.
Rosalie worked as a telephone switchboard operator for several years until her husband Larwrence retired from the Air Force. She and her husband then became restaurant owners for over 40 years starting with The Red Lion in Grand Rapids for several years, then the Randall Haus in Coopersville, for most of those years and ending with her final endeavor at Granny’s Kitchen in Dublin, with her daughter-in-law Carrie.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
