VIDEO: Fish on for Freedom 2024

LUDINGTON — The annual Fish on for Freedom veterans fishing tournament took place today, Friday, June 14, 2024. The free tournament included 127 veterans fishing from 33 boats.  There was a tie for the winner, both 22.15 pound king salmons from the boats Fishin’ Affair and SkipN. The big box winner went to the boat Pull Hard with a total of 41.07 pounds of fish. Second place went to Trippin’ Dypsys and third place was Fishin’ Affair. Fish caught included salmon, lake trout and steelhead. At noon they returned to a parade of flags and patriots along the piers.
