Illinois woman arrested for cocaine, heroin possession and shoplifting at Walmart

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 38-year-old River Grove, Illinois woman was arrested on charges of retail fraud, cocaine possession and heroin possession after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart Sunday, May 26, around 9:15 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“During the investigation, the suspect was also found to be in possession of suspected drugs,” said Sheriff Cole.

  • 10:10 p.m., a 52 year-old Ludington man was arrested for methamphetamine possession following a reported “suspicious situation,” Mason County picnic area on West Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 11:20 p.m., ​a report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office regarding a reported personal protection order/bond violation against a 33-year-old Custer man, 2700 block of East Wilson Road, Custer Township.
