Lake Jump raises over $34,000 for LPD K-9

LUDINGTON — The 25th Ludington Lake Jump, held last Saturday, April 27, raised $34,116.62 for the Friends of Ludington Police K-9. The Lake Jump took place at Stearns Park where people took pledged donations in exchange for jumping into Lake Michigan.

“The Lake Jump was a great event with great energy,” said Ludington Police Chief Chris Jones. “The funds raised will support our new K-9 unit, enabling us to provide more effective and comprehensive services to the residents and visitors of Ludington. I would like to thank the Friends of Ludington Police K9 Board for their support, as well as The Lake Jump Board for selecting FOLPK9 as this year’s beneficiary.”
