MCC bands participate in band festival

MANISTEE — The Mason County Central High School Wind Symphony and the MCC Middle School Seventh/Eight Grade Cadet Band recently earned division 2 ratings at the Michigan School and Band Orchestra Association District 1 Band Festival held last week at Manistee High School.

“Both bands were complimented by the judges throughout their performances on their attention to details, rhythmic accuracy, intonation, and overall musicianship with the group,” said Caleb Schultz, MCC director of bands and choirs. “We have a young program with some very eager musicians. I am very proud of each one of them and am excited to see them continue to grow.”
