The following is recent police activity in Mason County

Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024:

• 7:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 53-year-old Scottville man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st Street and Dennis Road, Amber Township.

Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024:

• 10:43 a.m., (MSP), a 68-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, US 10 across from Family Dollar, Pere Marquette Township.

Monday, Feb. 19, 2024:

• 9:41 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), damaged property, 100 block of South Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township. The side of a building was damaged.
• 7:01 p.m., (MCSO), a warrant is being sought for a 25-year-old Scottville man for retail fraud following an alleged theft at Walmart, West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 10:04 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township.
• 10:30 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 27-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two warrants following a traffic stop, Ludington Avenue and Harrison Street, City of Ludington. One of the warrants was issued by the 79th District Court for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge, and the second warrant was issued in Saginaw County for aggravated assault. He was lodged in the Mason County jail.
• 11:35 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Decker and LaSalle roads, Amber Township.
