Dodge Charger reported stolen

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 2006 red Dodge Charger was reported stolen Saturday, Feb. 10, around 2 a.m. in the 100 block of South Pere Marquette Highway, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The car has a Michigan license plate number of 5PTU97.

Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024:

  • 11:20 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 21-year-old Scottville woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant for failure to appear and a charge of assault and battery, 500 block of East Wilson Road, Custer Township. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 7:55 p.m., (MSP), a 47-year-old Rothbury woman was cited for operating without insurance, Jebavy Drive and Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Friday, Feb, 9, 2024:

  • 5:34 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of Wallace Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7:28 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 8:28 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of Custer Road, Custer Township.
  • 9:17 a.m., (MCSO), a 66-year-old Fountain man was cited following a traffic stop for driving without a license, ​US 10 and Amber Road, Amber Township.
  • 12:32 p.m., ​(MCSO), stolen dock, 6500 block of East Glenn Lane, Sheridan Township. The complainant reported that a metal dock was stolen while it was in the water.
  • 6:29 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 46-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the 79th District Court, 200 block of East Foster Street, City of Ludington.
  • 7:10 p.m., (LPD) a 61-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the 79th District Court, 700 block of North Street Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024:

  • 5:10 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of Amber Road, Victory Township.

Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024:

  • 9:17 p.m., (MCSO), retail fraud, Dollar General, North Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township. A 39-year-old Ludington woman reportedly stole several items. The case remains under investigation.
