The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023

• 2:47 p.m.: Two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive and Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
• 4:34 p.m.: Damaged vehicle/property, 6400 block of North Stiles Road, Victory Township. The complainant reported his pickup truck was struck by several BBs from an air soft gun.
• 8:02 p.m.: A 29-year-old Fountain man was arrested and charged with domestic violence following a reported assault in the 6200 block of East Millerton Road, Sheridan Township.
• 8:28 p.m.: A 51-year-old Branch man was arrested for assault in the Dollar General Parking Lot, 6649 E. US 10, Branch Township (Walhalla). According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, the man had apparently become upset because his car battery died while he was waiting in the parking lot for his female acquaintance, a 31-year-old Fountain woman, who was also the victim of the assault.

Friday, Dec. 29, 2023

• 7:54 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Custer Road south of Cable Road, Custer Township.
• 5:55 p.m.: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10-31 east of Stiles Road, Amber Township.
• 10:17 p.m.: : Car/deer crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Highway south of Lattin Road, Summit Township.

Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023

• 3:08 a.m.: A 41-year-old Dowagiac man was arrested on an outstanding criminal bench warrant out of Mason County, for failure to appear in court. The arrest occurred on US 10-31 west of Stiles Road, Amber Township.

• 9:20 a.m.: A 36-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding three-count felony drug warrant out of Mason County at the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, 302 N. Delia St., City of Ludington. The arrest occurred while the man had come to visit an inmate at the jail. Two of the counts from the warrant are for delivery of a controlled substance and one count is for maintaining a drug house.
• 11:34 a.m.: Gas drive off, $31.82, Scottville Shell gas station, 101 E. State St., City of Scottville.
• 6:34 p.m.: : Car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 east of Bean Road, Custer Township.

Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023

• 6:11 p.m.: A 52-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license revoked, following a traffic stop at Fountain and Victory Corner roads, Victory Township.

Monday, Jan. 1, 2024

• 5:53 a.m.: An 18-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 reporting an assault in the 2500 block of West Kinney Road, Riverton Township.
• 11:45 p.m.: : Car/deer crash, no injuries, Custer Road south of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
