The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023:

• 6:44 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 40-year-old Pentwater man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, 500 block of Marrison Road, Riverton Township.

Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023:

• 12:55 p.m., (MSP), a 30-year-old Muskegon woman was cited for driving while license suspended, and a passenger —  a 37-year-old Muskegon woman — was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, US 31 and Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.

Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023:

• 9:31 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 48-year-old Manistee man was arrested for methamphetamine possession after Mason County sheriff’s deputies and Michigan State Police troopers went to a residence in an attempt to arrest another subject on an unrelated warrant, 9600 block of North US 31, Grant Township.
• 9:48 p.m., (MSP), a 47-year-old Ludington man was arrested on three failure to appear warrants, 2400 block of 21st Street, Sheridan Township.
• 10:52 p.m., (MCSO), car/dog crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Riverview Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
• 11:04 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 24-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by Oceana County’s 79th District Court for failure to appear on an operating while intoxicated charge. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023:

• 2:26 a.m., (MSP), a 20-year-old Branch woman was cited for operating without insurance, US 10 and Custer Road, Custer Township.
