  • 7:14 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury Pere Marquette Highway at the Marquette rail crossing, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:28 a.m., (MCSO) a 30-year-old Ludington man turned himself in at the sheriff’s office on a felony warrant for child abuse, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 5:12 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Masten Road near Hawley Road, Logan Township.
  • 6 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 at Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7:47 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Kinney Road near Masten Road, Logan Township.
  • 8:16 p.m., (MCSO), a 43-year-old Branch woman was arrested on a felony warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court on a charge of larceny from a building, 7000 block of Martin Avenue, Branch Township. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 8:27 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road near Benedict Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 8:45 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jagger Road near Lakeshore Drive, Hamlin Township.
  • 9:13 p.m., (MCSO), a 25-year-old Scottville man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a single-vehicle crash, 1100 block of North US 31, Amber Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023:

  • 12:56 a.m., (MCSO), a 32-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear warrant on an operating while intoxicated charge issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court following a traffic stop, Freeman Road, Free Soil Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 3:44 a.m., (MCSO), a 31-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, Pere Marquette Highway near Lattin Road, Summit Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 6:39 a.m., (MCSO), single-vehicle crash, no injury, Free Soil Road near Campbell Road, Meade Township.
  • 6:47 p..m., (Ludington Police Department), a 30-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Oceana County for failure to appear to a court hearing, ​100 block of South Jackson Road, City of Ludington. ​She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 7:15 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 near Millerton Road, Sherman Township.
  • 7:22 p.m., (LPD), a 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated, fourth-offense driving while license suspended and for having open intoxicants in his vehicle, Ludington Avenue and Lavinia​ ​Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 8:41 p.m., (LPD), ​​a 31-year-old Idlewild man was arrested for absconding parole, US 10 and Nelson Road, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 11:02 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Meisenheimer Road near Hogenson Road, Riverton Township.
  • 11:10 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 near Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
