The following is police activity in Mason County Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023:

  • 4:56 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), alarm activation, Logan Township.
  • 6:04 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 and Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
  • 6:31 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31, Amber Township.
  • 12:27 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, M 116 and Ludington State Park entrance, Hamlin Township.
  • 12:34 p.m., (MCSO), larceny of plane floats, 7400 block of South Harbor Drive, Summit Township.
  • 7:19 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 42-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two warrants issued in Kent County for failure to appear, First and Adams​ streets, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • ​10:27 p.m., (LPD), ​a 35-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two outstanding warrants issued by the 79th District Court for failure to appear, Madison and Dowland​ ​streets, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 10:34 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway at mile marker 164, Summit Township.
