The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023:

  • 10:35 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 30-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, Lakeshore Drive near Bradshaw Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023:

  • 5:03 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Hazelwood Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7:01 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Angling Road north of Manales Road, Victory Township.
  • 10 p.m., (MCSO), trespassing, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office after a 40-year-old Ludington woman reportedly entered the store after being served a trespass notice by the Michigan State Police from a previous incident.

No activity was reported for Thursday, Sept. 14, by the Ludington Police Department or the Scottville Police Department.
