Community Foundation accepting grant applications

LUDINGTON — The Community Foundation for Mason County’s 2023 fall grant round is now open and accepting applications.

The foundation awards grants to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, churches, schools, agencies, and governmental units serving Mason County. All grants will reflect the foundation’s vision to build a vibrant community with great opportunities for all and will be focused on the organization’s strategic priorities.

The applications deadline is September 21, 2023.

The foundation’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is also currently accepting applications for teacher mini-grants.

YAC teacher mini-grants are open to Mason County public and private school teachers and counselors. Individuals may only submit one application, and grants are limited to one per classroom and one per teacher per school year.

Teacher mini-grants may be up to $500 for specific projects or programs, including program enhancement that meets curriculum guidelines, expanding an already existing unit, student awards, special events, professional development, artists in residence, or parent involvement programs. Grants are not awarded for basic supplies.

YAC teacher mini-grant applications are due September 29, 2023.
