Woman allegedly kicks police officer in leg while being escorted out of hospital

LUDINGTON — A 40-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for trespassing and assaulting a police officer Saturday, Aug. 19, shortly after 9 p.m. after she refused to leave the Corewell Health Ludington Hospital when requested by staff and police, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department. The woman kicked a Ludington officer in the leg while she was being escorted from the hospital.

She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
