LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Jabrocki

-David Matthew Jabrocki, 80; assault with intent to commit murder, attempted murder, felony firearms, and carrying a concealed weapon; arrested Aug. 3 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Aug. 4; probable cause hearing: Aug. 9; bail: $1,000,000 cash. See related story. 

Saya

-Mason Paul Saya, 24; assault by strangulation, knowingly assaulting or battering a pregnant woman, and domestic violence; arrested June 28 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 7; probable cause hearing: Aug. 16; bail: $25,000 cash.

Huber

-Jeremy Michael Huber, 46; four counts of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine); arrested March 1 by SSCENT; arraigned Aug. 4; preliminary hearing: Aug. 28; bail: $25,000 cash.

Leclair

-Brandon Joseph Leclair, 38; third offense domestic violence and interfering with an electronic communications device; arrested Aug. 6 by Michigan State Police, arraigned Aug. 7; probable cause hearing: Aug. 16; bail: $10,000 cash.

Portmann

-Brett Fredrik Portmann, 64; five counts of breaking and entering a building; arrested June 30 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 4; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance; case disposed Aug. 9.

Bentz

-Thomas James Bentz, 28; embezzlement by an agent or trustee between $1,000 to $20,000; arrested June 11 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Aug. 8; probable cause hearing: Aug. 16; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.

-Lynn Steven Richard, 23; assault/resisting a police officer; arrested Aug. 5 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 6; probable cause hearing: Aug. 16; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance. 

Plasterer

-Kevin Lee Plasterer, 49; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested June 6 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Aug. 4; probable cause hearing: Aug. 16; bail: $1,000/10 percent.

Bussey

-Zachary Joseph Bussey, 26; disorderly drunk person and two counts of assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer; arrested Aug. 8 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 9; probable cause hearing: Aug. 23; bail: $250/10 percent.

 

 

 

Misdemeanors

-Austin Lee Beck, 26; public intoxication; arrested July 22 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 3; pretrial: Aug. 14; bail: $250 cash.

-Nicholas Lee Lester, 35; second offense domestic violence; arrested July 22 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Aug. 3; pretrial: Aug. 14; bail: $500.

-Kenyatta Ann Rogers, 20; assault and battery; arrested July 24 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 4; pretrial: Aug. 14; bail: $250/10 percent.

-Bryan Lewis Bruner, 36; public intoxication; arrested Aug. 6 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 7; pretrial: Aug. 14; bail: $1,000/10 percent.

-Nathanael Thomas Basel, 37; driving while license not valid, transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle, and careless driving; arrested July 15 by Michigan State Police; pretrial: Aug. 14; bond: not posted.

-Miles David Isaiah Roberts, 32; driving while license expired and operating a vehicle without insurance; arrested July 30 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Aug. 3; pretrial: Aug. 14; bail: personal recognizance.
