Drunk man resists arrest after yelling profanities, damaging store displays

LUDINGTON — A 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Ludington police for disorderly conduct and resisting and opposing police officers Tuesday, Aug. 8, shortly after ​3:04 p.m. in the ​300 block of West Ludington Ave​nue, said Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.

“The highly intoxicated man was yelling profanities and was damaging displays inside a store at the Avenue Mini Mall,” said Cpt. Wietrzykowski. “The man kicked officers while they arrested him.” No one was injured during the incident, and the man was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
