4 injured in Sugar Grove Road crash

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — Four people were injured in a two vehicle head-on crash Wednesday morning on Sugar Grove Road west of Custer Road. The crash involved a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Kia Sedona minivan. Emergency personnel were initially dispatched to the scene at 10:07 a.m. The F-150 appeared to be traveling west and the Sedona appeared to be traveling east.

Each vehicle appeared to have two occupants and all were transported to Corewell Health Ludington Hospital.

Emergency units responding included Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, Fountain Area Fire Department, Custer Fire Department, and Life EMS.
