The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Friday, July 14, 2023:

• 9:37 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), alarm activation, Logan Township.
• 3 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Drive and Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.
• 8:19 p.m., (MCSO), a warrant is being requested for a 39-year-old Ludington woman following an investigation into a reported retail fraud, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

Saturday, July 15, 2023:

• 1:20 p.m., (MSP), a 37-year-old Comstock Park man was cited for operating without a license, US 31 near the Ludington rest area, Pere Marquette Township.
• 10:15 p.m., (MCSO), an 18-year-old Branch man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, US 31 and Countyline Road, Grant Township.

Sunday, July 16, 2023:

• 1:10 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 24-year-old Shelby man was arrested for amphetamine possession, Madison Avenue and Dowland Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 6:07 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of the Meisenheimer Road overpass, Summit Township.
• 3 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of Morse Road, Sheridan Township.
• 6:53 p.m.,  (MCSO), ​a 30-year-old homeless man was arrested on an outstanding probation violation warrant issued in Manistee County, Nurnberg Road and Trail #8039, Grant Township.
• 7:16 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, 5000 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
