Online fundraiser to help family of man who died in scooter crash

LUDINGTON — An online fundraiser is being held for the family of Michael Ivinson, 35, who died Friday following a vehicle crash. Invinson was traveling east on Bryant Road on a motorized scooter when he was struck by another vehicle that had initiated a left turn from westbound Bryant onto Harrison Street. See related story here.

A gofundme.com fundraiser has been set-up to assist Ivinson’s wife, Mandi, and their two children, Tanner, 6, and Madison, 4. Ivinson a U.S. Air Force veteran, was an electrician and Mandi was a stay-at-home mom.

According to Ludington Police Chief Chris Jones, the crash remains under investigation.
