Branch man, 92, injured in crash

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — A 92-year-old Branch man was injured after the vehicle he was driving pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Free Soil man Tuesday, June 27, shortly before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Custer and Sugar Grove roads, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Other police activity in Mason County Tuesday, June 27, 2023 includes: 

• 12:27 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
• 12:45 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway and First Street, Pere Marquette Township.
• 11:25 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 28-year-old Scottville man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 5000 block of West US 10​, City of Ludington. Central Dispatch had aired a “be on the lookout ” for a possible drunk driver. He was lodged in Mason County Jail.
