Girl, 17, apprehended for assaulting grandfather

LUDINGTON — A 17-year-old Ludington girl was apprehended by Ludington police Thursday, June 15, just before ​5:30 p.m. in the ​500 block of North Lavinia Street​ for domestic assault and battery against her grandfather, who is a 64-year-old Ludington man, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.

The girl was referred to the Mason County Juvenile Court. No injuries reported.
