Obituary: Ronald “Ron” Clinton Siple, 54, of Ludington

Ronald “Ron” Clinton Siple, 54, of Ludington, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Ron was born on March 23, 1969, the son of Ronald Clinton Benson and Lois May (Cooper) Siple. He attended Mason County Eastern Schools, as well as West Shore Community College where he took classes in auto mechanics. On June 15, 2012, he married Alice (Munafo) Siple. Together they shared many memorable years by each other’s side. 

Ron was a man of many talents, a welder by choice, but jack of all trades. He worked as an over-the-road driver, was employed by Charter Communications, as well as Irwin Seeding. When Ron wasn’t working, he could be found outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed boating as well as camping. Ron was always looking for a good time, whether it was at the bars shooting pool, or going out mudding. If a vehicle needed work, Ron was sure to be the one to fix it. 

Ron is survived by his wife, Alice Siple; mother, Lois May Siple; children, Ryan (Lindsey) Siple, Melissa Siple, and Travis Siple; siblings, Victoria Rojek, and Michele Morrow; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and so many friends. 

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Benson; paternal grandmother, Florence Mclaughlin; maternal grandfather Jarvis Cooper; and grandmother Lois Cooper.
