Firefighters called back to Victory Corner Road

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Firefighters have been called been back for a rekindle of a fire that severely damaged a house earlier today at 1975 N. Victory Corner Road.

The initial dispatch call was at 12:26 p.m.  In addition to fighting the fire, firefighters are battling temperatures hovering in the high 80s. At 1:36 p.m., fire command reported the fire was knocked down with firefighters expected to remain on scene for a couple more hours.

At 5:59 p.m., Scottville Fire Department was called back to the scene, with assistance from Pere Marquette Township Fire Department, for a report of the attached garage on fire.

Fire departments at the scene earlier today include Hamlin Township Fire Department, Scottville Fire Department, Pere Marquette Fire Department, Ludington Fire Department, Custer Fire Department and Fountain Area Fire Department. Additionally, Life EMS, Fountain Area Fire Department Auxiliary and Great Lakes Energy were on scene.
