Woman arrested following 911 call of person ‘tweaking’ in Meijer parking lot

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 36-year-old Manistee woman was arrested for possession of meth and probation violation after Mason County sheriff’s deputies responded to a wellbeing check in the Meijer parking lot on West US 10 Thursday, June 1, shortly before 6 p.m.

“Information was that of a female seated in a vehicle with the car off and windows up — in 86-degree weather — who appeared, to the caller, to be ‘tweaking,’” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. “Deputies recovered meth, suspected fentanyl and several needles from the vehicle.”
