Deputies arrest larceny suspect caught with stolen property

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 56-year-old Ludington man was arrested for larceny by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Friday, May 26, around 12:30 p.m. at Ludington Self Storage.

“While canvassing the area, the deputies made contact with a male who was found to be in possession of the stolen property,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The deputies were responding to a 911 call reporting the theft of two propane tanks and a camper battery from a camper trailer in storage.

The suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
