Girl, 13, sustains critical injuries in ORV crash

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — A 13-year-old Scottville girl was critically injured after she was ejected from an ORV that overturned Thursday, May 18, around 2:30 p.m. on Millerton Road west of US 31, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“The victim was flown by Aeromed to DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids with critical injuries.” The girl was a passenger on the ORV, said Cole. “The driver, also a minor from Scottville, received non-life-threatening injuries.”
