Obituary: Angela Bartlett, 85, of Branch

Angela A. (Amador) Bartlett, 85, of Branch, passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023. Angela was born on February 26, 1938, the daughter of Manual and Angela (Vasques) Amador. 

Angela was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved Jesus, family, and Elvis. She spent most of her time gardening and admiring the flowers, hummingbirds, and butterflies that were often found in her flower gardens. Angela loved to dance, especially at Johnny’s Band Stand in Custer with her family and friends back in the day. She worked many years in the family businesses, Bartlett Sawmill, Bartlett Satellites, and Bartlett Septic Tank. She later worked at Fruit Packers in Ludington until she was able to retire. Once retired she was able to stay home and do all the things she loved to do. Angela had the upmost appreciation and love for life. 

Angela is survived by her special person, Charles J. Bartlett; children, Christie L. (Bradley R.) Ernst, Carmen J. Johnson, and John C. (Cara) Bartlett; grandchildren, Britney Tyndall, Austin Ernst, Kellar Bartlett, Colton Bartlett, Stephanie Johnson, Priscilla Johnson, and Bowden Johnson; great-grandchildren, Braydon Tyndall, Bryson Tyndall, and Kylee Tyndall; siblings, Celia Gonzales, Ophelia Bowling, Juan Amador, Susie Flores, Elivea Lynn, Yolanda (Bill) Lynn, and Mario Amador; along with many nieces and nephews.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Manual and Angela Amador; siblings, Linda Gonzales, Art Amador, Albert Amador, Gloria Gonzales, and Manuela Cordova. 

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, beginning at 1 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, with Father Daniel DePew presiding. Visitation will begin at noon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.oakgroveludington.com.
