Fisher Road bridge construction to begin Monday

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — Replacement of the Fisher Road bridge between Peterson and Victory Corner roads begins Monday, May 15. The existing 52-feet long by 20-feet wide bridge, that spans the North Branch of the Lincoln River, will be replaced with a 70-feet long by 28-feet wide bridge. The Mason County Road Commission is overseeing the project with Hardman Construction of Ludington as the lead contractor.

Fisher Road traffic between Peterson and Victory Corner roads will be completely closed during the construction project. The detour is Peterson Road to Dewey Road to Victory Corner Road.

The project is expected to be completed by Sept. 15, 2023.
