West Shore Bank donates to Community Foundation, assists with MCC Behavioral Health Telemedicine Program

LUDINGTON — As a long-standing supporter and partner of the Community Foundation for Mason County, West Shore Bank recently donated $5,000 to the Foundation, helping raise funds for its recent grant awards benefiting a variety of community organizations in support of projects throughout Mason County.

This donation directly impacts the assistance for the new Mason County Central School Behavioral Health Telemedicine Program, provided by Corewell Health Foundation. Corewell Health Foundation received a $15,000 grant for the expansion of the behavioral health clinic at Mason County Central High School; providing services to help treat health issues such as depression, anxiety, suicidal depression, and personality disorders in the high school.

“As a community bank, we are all about building a stronger community,” said Raymond Biggs, president and CEO of West Shore Bank. “It’s a non-stop 24/7—you can never give up process, and we feel this donation is paving the way to provide paramount health services for our youth to build a bigger and brighter future.”
